Our primary
duty is to the men and women who are our customers. We will care for them,
and for the money they entrust to us with diligence. We will encourage them
to understand the value and benefit of thrift and use all possible means to
help them improve their ability to manage their finances. We will always
treat them with courtesy, respect, patience and understanding, seeking to
become their trusted friend.
Second is
our responsibility to our own people – those who are employed by, or
involved as volunteers with, GCS. We will provide them with the best
possible facilities and resources, including imaginative training and
personal development to enable them to not only fulfil their duties but also
to reach exceptional skill levels.
Thirdly we recognise our duty to the wider community in which we live and
work. We will strive to be both a good neighbour and a model corporate
citizen.
Our final duty is to the Board of Trustees, the sponsors and authorities who
make the secure running of our venture possible. By maintaining open and
honest relationships with them we will build sound long-term partnerships. |
