Ronnie retired as Managing Director of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance Scotland Ltd in December 2008, following a 48 year career with the Group. He continues to maintain his relationship on a consultancy basis.

Senior appointments within Lloyds Banking Group included membership of Lloyds TSB Scotland Wholesale Board of Management, based in Henry Duncan House, Edinburgh and of the Board of Management of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance Ltd, based in Richmond.

Over the last 7 years, he led a team of 75 in Scotland, specialising in asset-based lending, which is the ability for a company to leverage most of the assets on the balance sheet.

Ronnie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. He is married to Sheila who has retired from teaching biology at Hutchisons’ Grammar School. Free-time interests include sailing and walking.
